Version 1.0 is on its way to the App Store — both stores at once: iPhone and iPad, and a full native Mac app. Here is what the release brings, and what changed around it.
A real Mac app
Not a wrapped website — native SwiftUI, grown up for a big screen. One click opens a note full-window; the tool panel appears when you edit and gets out of the way when you read. Graph, mindmaps, flashcards and the calendar are all there, all offline.
Sync through your own iCloud
Your devices now see the same notes, cards and calendar — synced through your private iCloud, under your Apple ID. We run no sync servers, so we never see what syncs. The privacy policy says exactly this, in plain words.
An exam date becomes a daily plan
Exam mode: pick the cards, set the date — FSRS paces the repetitions so every card is ready on the day, and tells you honestly when a date is too close. Next to it, a real calendar: events with categories, gentle reminders, daily notes — time-zone honest.
Intelligence on your terms — now four rungs
Apple Intelligence on the device, a local model over your Wi-Fi, your own API key (Gemini or any OpenAI-compatible provider — the key lives in the system Keychain), or the MCP connector inside your own Claude, ChatGPT or Grok. Nothing is sent anywhere until you ask.
Around the release
The store pages got honest, desktop-free screenshots on all three device families; the site — including the Method, now one loop of seven steps — was refreshed in all eight languages; and Sign in with Apple is built in (and still optional). Lampira stays free today: nothing to subscribe to yet, and nothing will ever be charged without your explicit confirmation.
